Hot 101.9 Welcomes Tig Notaro

Tig Notaro is part of our ongoing Laugh Your Ass Off Comedy Showcase, featuring the best regional and national Stand Up Comedy talent at the Jefferson Theater and Southern Café & Music Hall.

Most recently, Tig finished shooting Knock Knock, It’s Tig Notaro, where she performs in theactual homes, barns and rooftops of selected fans across the country, which is expected to air on Showtime in early 2015. Furthermore, Tig recently delivered a TED Talk which is set to air online in 2015 and is writing a memoir for Ecco Publishing, also expected out in 2015. Tig is next slated to appear in the feature Catch Hell opposite Ryan Phillippe along with an arc on Jill Soloway’s series Transparent for Amazon. Tig is coming off appearances in the feature Walk of Shame, opposite Elizabeth Banks, the Lake Bell feature In a World, along with guest starring roles on ABC’s Suburgatory and IFC’s Maron and Garfunkel and Oates.

Tig remains a favorite on both  Conan and This American Life and continues to host her own weekly podcast, Professor Blastoff, which ranks consistently at the top of the iTunes charts.

In previous years Tig has Guest Starred on shows such as NBC’s The Office and Community, FOX's Bob's Burgers, HBO’s The Life and Times of Tim, wrote for The 2011 Emmy’s with Jane Lynch and 2010 MTV Movie Awards with Aziz Ansari, and toured nationally and internationally at the most reputable comedy and music festivals around the world.
